    as far as I am getting today

    the body is only painted to keep the rust away until I figgure out how I want to finish it

                    I was thinking about blueing
                    or maybe powder coating

                    as it is steel anno is not an option

                    the only other way I could realy for it el. nickel ... or black nickel hmmm

                            it is a metal treatment used on actualy firearms, it is a black oxide finish wich means it is actualy controled rust

                                get them chromed. You ever seen those all chrome pistols that those Marine dudes carry around? those are awesome...

                                        Very good looking :) Good job on the project

                                        I just restored one this year that was oh six years younger than yours and not in as bad condition.

                                        I was pretty much able to salvage the original paint? job on there and polished the areas of operation (as well as the barrel). It's still in working order, but definitely isn't a show piece like those will be :)

                                            I'd go with chrome, too. Not only would it look flashy, but you'd get more range, too.

                                                            sorry for not updating this project latley i have gotten busy with customer work and these kind of took a back burner for a little while but I hope to get back the them soon
