    No more crappy yellow pin..

As many of you know I have been working on an on/off switch for the e-mags. Below is the first run on the boards. The switch is pointing up because I have not drilled a hole in the side yet.the board wire will also be changed .

Cool, this is what I was looking for for an E-Mag. Is the swithc going to come standard on the E-Mag/X-Mag in the future? Or, will it be available as a retro fit for those who already onw E/X/SFL-Mags? Let us know man!!!!!!!!!!

                  Thanks, Breg

I built this as a project on my own..The reason for the circuit board is the switch is only rated for .4va . AGD says the current draw is too much for just a switch to last.As far as I can tell this will fit all emag frames without a modification . You will just have to drill a 3/16 hole to reach the switch.

Hey Kayle, anything new with this setup with the on/off switch ? If it works ok, will it be available to the rest of us Emag owners ?

The boards will be done this week and the parts are getting quoted.. The only thing thay will have to be done is to drill a 3/16 hole in the e-mag frame.. Looks like the cost will be around $35.00

Obviously I assume it's held up well while you've tested it. Where did you mount the switch ? Do you have the option of mounting it in different places ? What's involved with mounting the board and wiring ?

Do you have a picture of it mounted on the Emag ?

externally this switch will look identical to the on/off switch shown on xmags
