As many of you know I have been working on an on/off switch for the e-mags. Below is the first run on the boards. The switch is pointing up because I have not drilled a hole in the side yet.the board wire will also be changed .

Cool, this is what I was looking for for an E-Mag. Is the swithc going to come standard on the E-Mag/X-Mag in the future? Or, will it be available as a retro fit for those who already onw E/X/SFL-Mags? Let us know man!!!!!!!!!!

I built this as a project on my own..The reason for the circuit board is the switch is only rated for .4va . AGD says the current draw is too much for just a switch to last.As far as I can tell this will fit all emag frames without a modification . You will just have to drill a 3/16 hole to reach the switch."It's my buddies gun"
"I just bought it"
"It came that way"
"I borrowed it "
I HAVE HEARD THEM ALL, SO BE ORIGINAL !!!

Hey Kayle, anything new with this setup with the on/off switch ? If it works ok, will it be available to the rest of us Emag owners ?Comment

The boards will be done this week and the parts are getting quoted.. The only thing thay will have to be done is to drill a 3/16 hole in the e-mag frame.. Looks like the cost will be around $35.00"It's my buddies gun"

Obviously I assume it's held up well while you've tested it. Where did you mount the switch ? Do you have the option of mounting it in different places ? What's involved with mounting the board and wiring ?
Do you have a picture of it mounted on the Emag ?Last edited by CFD323; 06-18-2003, 11:23 AM.Comment
