Broken Pipe Tip, Anyone else seen this problem?

    those thing are pretty sturdy. this one guy i know used one as a hammer. it worked well and just scratched it up. i was a little confused why he did this but i guess he had his reasons

      Here's a pic of my pipe tip, looks like the porting is identical to yours.

      I learned from owning two freak kits to not crank the barrel down while holding the ported end since SP does some of the most agressive porting I've seen to date on their tips. This is especially true if you have to really crank hard on it to seat the barrel all the way down. Best to do that with the back which has alot more meat on it.

      I never did get the "pop and fresh" tip with the freak, but I personally witnessed it twice when guys were in a hurry to hit the field and weren't thinking. I did twist a couple of the SS backs while trying to seat them, the "FREAK" milling in the thinest part of the back makes it extremely weak and prone to twisting, hence my reluctance to go back to using inserts again.
