    Disposable CO2 tanks

Hey, I was at walmart the other day, and i decided to stroll over by sporting goods to see the blade 2 and viewloader guns, lol and I saw the disposable CO2 tanks...To me this could be a good idea if the price was a little better. I mean, $12 for something that'll give u about 500-1000 shots then u throw it away isn't such a great deal. U could pay double that much for a 20oz and u can keep one of those for as long as u want. LMK some of your opinions on them...thanx

i think they are supposed to be used for a quick backup if you run out of air in youre regular tank.

You answered your own question. The reason they aren't mass produced is because it wouldn't be cost efficient.

i saw them too... its like yea...nice idea, but not really useful, and the worst part is that they dont use normal asa threds, u need an adapter 4 em, i say just gettin a 12g adapter is a better idea. But scence when does my opinion count?

Yea, they are way overpriced to be usefull. I don't see how they could even be a backup. Why not just carry 2 normal tanks? Hmmm...

they were made for bb guns and pumps, which is all you see them in. but some guy came up with the 12 grame adapt. and now people use them in semi autos.

Actually they are supposed to be for people who have no fills in there area. This way you can buy some tanks, use the air and then you bring them back, get a deposit back, buy some new ones. The theory is that this way you can have alot of air, and not worry about getting fills for your 1 tank. So you can get 2wice as much air for the same $, and then get a deposit back, you only end up paying a small amount more than the price of the fill, because they rebuild new tanks with old parts.
