DPB 2.0- fastest gun?

ok you guys, i did a test on the fastest SEMI AUTO guns on DPB 2.0
here are the results. note-the time shown is how fast I could dump a hoper. i didnt choose favorites, i tryed as hard as i could to shoot as fast as i could.

Tippy 98c- 1:19
Orracle- :43
Shocker- :37
E-Mag- :39
Timmy- :39
Impy- :39
E-Trix- :40
Angel LCD- :40
Excal- 1:00
Spyder- 1:15
Classic Mag- :43
Cocker- :43
Bushy- :43

ok guys the fastest gn appears to be the shocker.then the E-Mag Timmy and Impy tie for second. if i missed any guns just tell me.

impy- 26 sec
bushy- 27 sec
Shocker- 30 sec

those were the only guns that i tested b/c my comp messed up...just sayind...different results

To see your actual balls per second, go into the console, and type "cl_showbps 1". Do this without quotes and remember the space between the "showbps" and the "1". Enjoy!

You could probably do a better test if you bind mousewheel up and down to fire.

Carniflex, that's what I do, you can consistently hit the limit on the BPS for each gun.

TADAH! It shows up in the top right...

i didnt do a test with every gun but i managed getting 16 BPS with the matrix. I also got a 11 walking my mouse with the timmy heh.

I get 13 with the excal but the excal has the best strings cause i get like: 12,13,11,9 etc etc etc

thats messed up. In real life the tippmann trigger pull compared to spyder is tiny. I don't understand how the spyder beat the tippmann. But on the electros the order seems right.

You actually shoot the fastest by firing using the mousewheel. Now I havn't actually played DPB v2.0 yet (I'm stuck at my dads house in london) so it may have been removed because it's kinda lame. Anyway, here's how to do it:
Go into your console in halflife by pressing the tilde key (the one below esc) and type in these two lines

bind mwheelup +attack
bind mwheeldown +attack

If your console won't come down for whatever reason, add these two lines to the autoexec.cfg file in your halflife/dpb directory. If autoexec.cfg doesn't exist, make a new one by copy and pasting one of the other .cfg files, opening it in notepad and deleting all the text.

Huzzah! Now you can spam away like a lamer with little to no effort at all! Simply by waggling the mousewheel up and down! Have fun making the game boring for those of us who only enjoy playing pump!

You shoot faster with a 'Cocker or a Classic 'Mag than with the Excal?
