    Any word on the xmag software?

    Just wanted to see if anyone has heard anything more about the "3.0" software upgrade for the xmag.

      I just spoke with Jon today. He told me that my X-Mag would be upgraded to 2.4 while it was in the shop... No mention of 3.0.

      What kind of upgrades could we be in store for?

              What's 3.0 have on it that's going to be so good. My xmag did come with 2.4 and it's from the latest batch.

              Will older xmags get a free upgrade?

                  Yes they can, if you're at an event where they are doing it. (Such as IAO.)

                  And the software- Tom leaked a few secrets to us at the Megameet. It'll be all sorts of cool.

                                              I just had 3 of my x-mags loaded with 2.21 from 2.4 because of a bug that we could not fix. But will upgrade to 3.o at IAO

                                                          I heard that the 3.0 software would have an MP3/WMA Player built in. It would also tell you how many FPS you are getting for every shot and then average it out. The Rumor also states it will be voiced activated kind of like Judge Dredd's gun. (Example: "Full Auto," "Semi-Auto.")

                                                          Of course these are just rumors. I am stoked about the 3.0 software, but I just don't have the dang gun yet.
