    Rail question

I just bought another mag, used this time, its an original 68 automag, and the rail doesnt have a hole fore a VA or foregrip, but i took off the rail, and inside there is an indentation where the screw should be, and on the outside where the hole should be it looks a little different than the rest fo the rail, do i screw the hole witha screw driver? or tap it with threads? or is there not suppposed to be a hole?

Set rail on carpet. Insert screw into rail. Bang screw with screw driver or hammer to knock it through the thin section of the rail.

What ever floats your boat. I like banging stuff with a hammer. If you want to use a drill you can do it that way to.

I used a drill bit and drill myself. I would not use the foregrips screw as you might bugger up the threads. You could use a "sacraficial" bolt of some kind. But those little flat head forgrip screws are kinda hard to come by and so you don't wanna mess yours up using it as a punch. If I remember correctly it took a 1/4 inch drill bit nicely.

AGD, where we are so good we can do it with only ONE tube!

Yes, you just have to drill the rail out for the vert adapter. It's pretty thin metal so it doesn't take a lot.

Your local skate shop should have a screw that you can swap for the forgrip screw. Thats where I picked my spares up from. Apparently they are used in skateboard trucks.

No I didnt mangle it using it as a punch I dropped it in a crack in my deck while cleaning my gun.
