I was wondering what the best output pressure(from a regulator) is for a regular automag valve. Does this change with a LVL 10? Does anyone know? I'm guessing around 650psi.....

For your older non-reactive lvl 7 valves, 650-700 was a good range to use.
Lvl 10 requires a bit more input to overcome the initial resistance of the o-ring carrier on the lower pressure start, I use 750 using the middle spring, if you use the longer spring, you may have to go as high as 800 before it the bolt stops sticking. It all depends upon how you're tuning it and which spring you're using.

I was just wondering because I am thinking about getting a new compressed air tank, and the preset reg is at 750psi, and I wasn't sure if that was enough to handle the LVL 10.

Well if you're running 750 into the reg and the output of the reg into the valve is 650, you will have a lot of shootdown. You usually need at least 200 psi between stages (like the tank to reg) to compensate for resistance. I'd just get a gasthrough foregrip and skip the reg if I were you, but if you really want to use the reg, here are some other options:
Open up the reg on the gun all the way and use your inline regulator to adjust the velocity. The only way this will benefit you is if you have a really nice reg, since most aren't as good as the A.I.R. one on the Automag. (get a stabilizer or maxflo if you want to do this)
Open the inline reg up all the way (pretty pointless but it makes a good foregrip)

I'm not talking about an inline reg, I was talking about the preset reg on the compressed air tank.

Didn't notice much difference when shooting faster.
