What do you call a mag that...

I've got a Minimag... or at least that is what I used to call it. I'm not sure what to call it anymore..

I've changed out the barrel, I've got an X-Valve/Lv10, I've changed the frame and grips, upgraded to HPA and have a ULE body comming.

When put all together this will have no resemblance to a Minimag, what do we call these things? I was ever so proud to own a Mini-Mag, but I dont want to just refer to it as a "Mag". I might hurt it's feelings. [grin]

    a ULE Mag?

ULE Mag.. har... I didnt know if there was an official term that someone coined for it. I geuss i'll have to get creative now and think of something special.

hmm I could go with an orange / clear motif and call it an iMAG.... oh no!

I call mine "Black Panther" It now has a Xvalve on it and it is a "True" ULE mag due to it's rail being milled out and it will soon have a ULE foregrip. Man it's great living near RogueFactor.

i like brak's ideas. i have a minimag w/ an x-valve and all the goodies (still the orginal body...the only original part, but it's there) and i still just call it a mag. some times a minimag rt. but because you changed your body i'm not sure if it qualifies as a minimag anymore...i would say go w/ 1 of brak's ideas. widow maker sounds good too. how about paint slinger from hell?

Personaly I like using my Dye Stainless 10" on it. and when the bolt hits the barrel it makes a little pinging noise, which makes it very distinctive on the field.

I think i'd call my "Ping of Death"

^^^^ The Black Panther's also a comic book superhero. Instead of "Ping of Death" why not just "Ping". Short, simple, and sounds good.

                        Very simple solution.

Buy a new rail, and put all those "old" parts back together as another REAL MiniMag!

Hah, ya know what, I was thinking about that, since I have the old valve and bolt, it could be my "incentive gun" to let new players or walkons goof arround with after one of their o-rings blows out for the 2nd game in a row.

yeah i have the same problem at the field. the only things stock on my retromag are the rail and sear. i always give a rundown of what i have. i don't want some poor kid to think that he can just go and buy an automag and have it be just like mine.
