Does a "drop" forward like this exist?

A vertical bottle just doesnt work well for me, I want to have my left hand under the tank, supporting its weight, while keeping it as close to my right hand as possible. Plus, you cant really fit your hand around a tank.

What I want is sort of hard to explain. The bottle would be at about a 65 degree angle to the barrel. The up-forward would move the ASA almost to the position of a vertical ASA, but as I said it would be at about 65 degrees rather than perpindicular to the barrel.

To think of it, its a lot like the Z-grip. It would put your hand in a much more ergonical position when you have the gun tight to your cheek.

If noone makes them, would steel bent in a vice suffice (no rhyming intended)?

If you dont know what in God's name I am talking about, AIM me at seanpark37, or email me at seanpark37@comcast[|)0T]net. I'll send you a Photoshop-made sketch (I would put it up on here, were it not for my lack of webspace.)

ok, I think I know what you are talking about. If you want to connect the piece of steel to the bottom of the grip that would be a big, weird shaped piece of steel. I've never heard of, or seen anything like this. The end of the steel piece(where the ASA is attached)would be almost all the way up to the rail. I'm going to work on some drawing for this. I think it's a good idea. A Z-grip, "Z-drop" combo. Wicked.

It might work better if it were made of aluminum though.

Oh, cool. No webspace needed. I shoulda checked.

Note: as the pic says, it is NOT drawn to scale, and I hope to God that isnt what the final product would look like. Enjoy.

It only serves to show where I want the tank to go (well, it kinda does )

Of course it doesn't exist, but our friend Doc at www.docsmachine.com could help you.

Wouldn't it be easier to run something like that from the vertical asa? And move it down and back?

Or even simpler, just get a bottomline, and a gas thru...

Perhaps, but it would be easier (with the tools availbe to me) to bend a thick strip of aluminum or steel, and drill some holes in it for the screws.

I found the beast. I like it, aside from the expansion chamber.

But only a 12 oz CO2 would work with that, I wanna run HPA. I think ill try the bent-rod idea. Then try a variant of the best =)

Oh wait, I was looking at http://www.automags.org/forums/showt...ighlight=beast

In the other pics theres plenty of clearance for a HPA tank.

what I would do, is get the Doc's 15 degree front asa, and mag rail extension. Mount the Docs adapter backward(15 degree) With the extension, it should clear. That would be the easiest.

                              http://www.automags.org/forums/showt...threadid=65680 for Doc's 15 degree asa.
