    Too tallto play front?

I love playing front, I've been playing front right tape since i started playing serious paintball, but I've grown about 7 or 8 inches since i started playing front, and it seems everytime i play now i seem to get shot off the break. I used to never get shot off the break, i guess im too tall now? . What do you think? Im 6 foot 1 and semi-fast

You may just have to adjust your running and how you play the bunker to your newer size

It's all about staying low, and using the cover you have. I am 6'3", and play front pretty effectivly. Off the break stay as LOW as humanly possible. I mean skimming the ground.

In this picture I am not as low as I can be, but I am using a bunker in front of me as cover. I like to dive too. Keep your head up when you are running, at the first sign of paint coming your way. I will lay out, and then just crawl up to my bunker. The team will cover while you are crawling, and it is better to take a little long to get to your bunker, then to get shot out.

Most of the time, depending on angles, you can dive 10-12 feet behind your primary bunker, and be out of the lanes the other team is shooting.

yeah, the main thing is to keep low, and run like hell : ) i'm six feet even, and i have no problem at all taking the 40 off the break. you just have to find a good line to run.

Stay as low as you can. Dont worry about firing off the break just worry about getting to that bunker. Thats all I do. Try to stay out of their line of sight and run as fast as you can.

anything you can do to get faster is worth it, i.e. lift weights, and run sprints.

Run winter track, play soccer and ultimate ALOT. Thats how i stay fast. Im 6' 3" and a manage to play some good front. Height also helps while your wrapping a bunker, and with hight usually comes longer arms, and this way you can swing the gun around and carry a bigger tank. Just my opinion w00t Varsity (im a freshman)
