They'd never make it. I know, I was on the opposing team once or twice. All we could do was cower behind out bunkers and pray for a gentle long-range hit.

I was playing today at T..G and I had someone describe it very well.

He said it's like a sprinker at times, you just hear the shots hitting bunkers on one side of the field and hear the spreay just make it's way along the whole width and back.

...course I never hit anything but it's like a freez frame so my team and saunter up the field... hopefully.
