I've used alot of different paint and the main problem with it bouncing off of someone is velocity or trying to shoot too far. Fresh paint the quality of marbalizer will almost (and I said almost)always break.Good Traders:

bouncy balls
I used Marbs at the MICT tourny at CPX three weeks ago and it was bouncing off everything. We were throughing them at rocks on the ground and bouncing them off. If you didn't hit someone on the mask or hopper it usually bounced. Otherwise the paint was really round, small seam, consistant size, and shot great, it just didn't break. I don't know how old it was, the event was FPO. I don't have any left to measure to bounce rating, but I know it bounced off me several times.
At least that was better than the kick'n paint from the Sping MICT. That stuff was aweful. Everyone was breaking paint and it was dimpled so it never flew straight. I had a couple break in my pods. Probably not fresh paint, but what a way to spoil an event.

Marbellizer will break and usually does, however, its not a very "soft" paint. Don't expect any lucky lobs to break.
