you can get a unmilled,half milled, an full milled version of them. They shoot jus as fast as ever other electro. Not many people ahve them so i like em cuz there unique.Comment

The only difference by design is the Viking is open bolt and the Excal is closed bolt. They feel essentially the same, just the Excal cycles a little smoother and is slightly softer on paint, and the Viking is capable of cycling faster.
I really don't see any resemblance between Excals/Vikings and Matrixes. Maybe you'd have to see them for yourself in real life.Converge KillsComment

I wasn't disagreeing that the viking was open and the excal was closed... just that you said that the excal will shoot further due to its closed bolt-ness..... I recently bought a Viking (unmilled, milled is for poseurs
), and let me tell you, they rock. If you thought AGD products were well built, you need to check these bad boys out. The exterior finish is a Type 3 anno that is incredibly hard to scratch, and cleaning it is done by spraying windex on it and wiping it off. Maintenance consists of 2 drops of lube in the asa and oiling the bolt after a day of play, thats it.
And the rip right out of the box. Get some eyes in it, and its a world-beater.Comment
