Considering you have used it quite a bit, I hope you don't mind me asking a question. How is the overall feel? That is, do you find less tension in your forearm/wrist, and less fatigue?

Lately, playing with my stock-framed Mag is a very painful experience. After a few hundred rounds, I can barely hold my marker. I am seriously considering buying one as a result.

Also, and unfortunately, I haven't experienced an I-Frame
trigger, so I can't go off of that as far as your description of the similarity. Would I notice an easier pull, overall, as compared to stock (I don't expect much). I know the blade would give more leverage, and I have heard they are "nicer," but that could mean lots of things.

Sorry for the banal question. I am really curious, though.

$5 more than the I-frame and you guys are stuck on the price?

As soon as I finish moving and get another job, I'm going to get one... (assuming they do more than 1 run)

*edit- Does anyone know if these grip panels will fit/look good if you turn them backwards?

No 120 is not bad for a gripframe.

Clamshell frames are 160, just for the gripframe, no lcd screen or wires. Just the frame, after you get everything its about 250 dollars.

Oh, I forgot to ask if stickies will fit on the y-grip? Those stock grips don't look too comfy. Are they rubber?

The Stickies won't fit, but I think the Dye panels, might...

Yeah, I noticed a lot less tension in my wrist as compared to the Intelliframe. With the stock single trigger frame, there's even more tension (as compared to the Y Grip) due to the lesser amount of leverage the shorter trigger gives you. Given your problem, perhaps a ULE trigger would help you out too, assuming everything goes well with it's development. If you don't know what the ULE trigger is, check out this thread. Oh..and this one too.

Most of my fatigue during the time I used it was my bicep from lugging my gun around the whole park. :) It was a big game so the whole field was open. Lots 'o walkin!

Yep...the bracket for the roller microswitch is in the Y-Grip, just as it is in the Intelliframe.

How do drop forwards work with y-frames? They must drop waaayyyy forward. Imagine a z-grip with a dead-on drop!!!! . So anyways, my question is will a drop work on a y-frame? And, do you think it will hit the gas-thru if I get a mini foregrip? (like CP mini gas-thru). By the way, it will be used on a 68 classic.

The only thing I can say is that you need to set your bottle up properly with your drop forward. And I'll explain why.

I picked up an IR3 when they came out(dirty dirty object) at a WDP booth. The grip felt weird yes but good. I asked them to put an air system with bottle on the gun and when this was done my wrist/forearm was still crooked as it had to bend round a chuggin great angel air. So although these grips work really well you must be aware of the tank.

I saw a company in PGI once that do a drop forward that off-sets the air system to the left or the right which would sort this out a treat. Unfortunately I do not have the companies name.

Let me know if you find one!

I few comments on 90 degree frames. Here is a pic of my current shocker...

This is how the bottom is setup... There is a mac dev rail connect to a benchmark on/off. I dont have a problem with the tank valve or if there were a reg there that would cause me to bend my wrist around it, however if I had something with a monster sized reg, angel air, it would be an issue.

Guys that are using smalled sized regs, flatline, should have no problem with this setup, just use a rail or a really small drop, stock 3k flatline, eclipse, or nac dev rail.

all I can say is that useing a 90 degree frame on a heavy setup; shocker, 20oz co2, rico full of paint, my wrist does not hurt after playing all day. I really think these Y's are going to be great for all styles of play. Just watch your drop forward to forgrip/gas through space.

Last comment, these kinds of frames are great for the single trigger guys! You only need to use one finger on the very bottom of the frame. You palm kind of holds the bottome of the frame making your are and wrist kind of vertical. If requested, I will put up some pics of how you hold the frame versus a 45.

ive got my mag with an intelli and my impulse wit an i-frame and i love the feel of 45 frames. Ive held 90 degree frames and all but i never particularly like the feel of one. I mean is this actually for the better. and wow that s an otb on a shocker, never seen that b4.

FYI - Black Y-Grips are nearly gone, still have about 10 nickel in stock.

I have no idea whether flat black is contemplated, you'll have to wait till Tom gets a chance to read this thread. But if there are only two people holding out for flat black, it's not all that likely to happen.
