It reminds me heavily of the old F/X Microcockers. I've been begging chuckthemagician to trade me one of his(he knows which one
) for weeks now, but he won't budge...and I understand why. Eitherway, that little turtle cocker is pretty cool and if I had the funds, I would love to get one. Small, light, fast, and stylish....who could want more....btw, you can mount a reg on it. It uses the minicocker asa threads

all these new half block cockers...
um
this has basically already been done
it's called a palmer blazer
except palmer doesn't believe in low pressure...
and there's no fancy milling
it's funny though that palmer semi's have never had the need for a cocking rod or cocking block
and cockers are finally just catching up nowTheDuelist "The problem is that Tom has developed the VW Beetle of the paintball industry. It's almost too good to change and far too reliable."Comment

Too bad Palmer won't put electro grip frames on. Also, I think the Gun FX Micro cocker was out before the Blazer.Comment

ya it's a shame but i'm sure they won't ever go electroOriginally posted by UThomas

Palmer is just 100% oldschool and that's the way he likes it
oh ya and regardless of when the micro came out...the recocking setup on a blazer is pretty much the same as the typhoon...
and the 'phoon has been around foreverTheDuelist "The problem is that Tom has developed the VW Beetle of the paintball industry. It's almost too good to change and far too reliable."Comment

What's really a shame is that the Turtle place wants $1200+ for one of their cockers fully assembled with Eblade. I might consider getting of of them if they drop the price down to $800, cause there is no way in hell I'm gonna pay that much for a minor milling conversion.Comment

Considering you can setup a sweet Ebladed Powerlyte Hybrid Cocker for around $800-900. Eblade for $400 if not less, Powerlyte Hybrid Body is about $375 i think. Don't need to buy much else for the Front block with the Hybrid, since the Ram is internal I believe.
$800-900 tops, ask Dayspring and BlazingAce, they put together their Ebladed Hybrids for around that.Comment

E-Blade $390
Hybrid Body Kit $470
CP Barrel $45 (Turtle Cockers come with Barrels)
$905. However, the Turtle Cockers are much smaller and wayyy lighter than a Hybrid, not to mention some other advantages (lower cycling pressure, easier velocity adjustment, already assembled, more anodizing options).
IMO, it's up to your if you want to pay the extra $320 for a Turtle over a Hybrid, because the advantages are there. That's not saying I don't like the Hybrid though, as a matter of fact I still want to own one really bad. It just comes down to which features you want more (the Hybrid has some huge benefits over normal Cockers also).
Keep in mind you could also buy a Turtle with a sliding frame and throw on an E-Blade, that would end up being like $955, only $50 more than a Hybrid.Converge KillsComment

Heh... musta been a Hybrid Body Kit special at IAO.. cause my teammates didnt pay anything near that, muhahahahah. Barrel prices are not to be included, I'm talking just gun setup. But Anyways.... for under $850, you can have a sweet Ebladed Cocker Setup. And no, I don't do drugs

Talk to Dayspring, BlazingAce, or nTn. Those three have them. Day's and nTn have theirs fully setup already as they were using them at NJAO3....Comment
