I have sanded two Halo B feednecks to fit my unusually small ULE mainbody feedneck and both have cracked as a result of the thin plastic necks. Luckily, Odyssey's great customer service has replaced both shells for free, but this is getting annoying. I need a good alternative to the stock ULE feedneck. Pics and model numbers (and links) would also be appreciated.

i don't know what to tell you. I have sanded three of them and not had a lick of problems... They are built oversized to BE sanded down. It's a feature of them so I am not sure why you are having these problems. When I get mine to fit nice and tight there is PLENTY of meat on the neck left.
Do you haul them around still placed in the markers feed neck?

I use the Chipley (CMP) feedneck with Angel threads. It works great and requires no sanding.

Like this?
They still have my Halo...
bad time to send it in, IAO and stuff.. but hopefully it will be back soon.
So yeah, I should get a new feedneck to. Damn.. what was that feed neck that you could screw down and it would tighten the neck to the loader. I looked at the Chipley (CMP) feedneck, are there anymore like that? Low-Rise? I wanna replace mine with one like that. Also do the same on my Angel Speed so I can swap Halo's back and forth between them.

The CMP is barely higher then the stock which is about the same as the no-rise.

These are all over ebay, just a tad bit higher than the rise on the ULE though.

A+ is making angel threaded feed necks specifically for the ULE. I got the proto at IAO. It is actually .007" lower than the stock feed neck. Thats pretty good for a clamping feed neck.
You should ask them specifically for the lowest one for the ULEs, they are shorter than their normal angel threaded ones. These ones are so low that if installed on an angel, it wont let the breech door open.

could you not be sanding them down enough...? If there is too much friction, torquing the Halo could crack the neck... no?

There are a few clamping feed necks out there with angel threads.
Here's one I was looking at last week:
*EDIT* - Called the above link today, they're out of stock on Angel threaded clamps. I then called A+ and ordered one of the above mentioned No Rise clamps. They also do all the annoing for AGD on the C&C's as well as custom milling, so I'll be sending them my ULE rail to get it milled and reannoed to match the ULE warp body when they're released.

stangler necks or twister feed?
i have heard, not positive, that the strangler necks on impulses have angel threads, which means that will fit in the ULE bodies. i am looking into getting one for my ULE body. it would be nice to slide into a bunker and still have the hopper facing forward on my gun not sideways.
Speed Kills.........but so does everything else only slower

NW Products makes feednecks with orings in them to hold the hopper. These things rock like no others that I have seen...great product.
