depends. right now i use a 68ci with a unimount on my timmy and it feels perfect. ive tried a 45ci on it nad it was too small(mask hit the back of hte gun). the only kind of 88ci size i like is a stubby.

although, a 114ci felt really nice with my mag and system x drop in it blazestorm agrees with me

There are two choices:

45/4500 and 72/4500.

No drop.

That is all anyone needs to know.

I'm one of those few dorks out there that are still running remote, so I don't mind the weight or size of the 114 watermelon. If I used a drop though, no way I'd use the watermelon.

i used to use a 114ci with a coustom 7 inch drop now i use an 88 with no drop and its great

Every tank size should have a food name:

72=peanut
114=watermelon

Anyhow, here's how I see it. No one should use a drop, just because. A 68 or an 88 stubby is best if you have a spaceframe/y-grip or you like your tank sticking out a little further. A 45 or 72 is perfect if you have a standard 45 frame.

If you have a spyder, the trigger is so far back, you may need a drop.

I use an 88/4500 stubby on like a 5" drop. This fits me well, though I have never even come close to emptying that thing. My next tank Im thinking will be a 68

68. I like using a drop because it completely balances out the gun, especially when a mag is already back-heavy, the drop helps to even it out.

68 with a rail. this puts most of the reg under the frame, and fits me PERFECT

Damn, I'm using a 68ci stubby w/ a 5 inch forward, 2 inch down drop :o (the tank sits about an inche behind my Timmy) Its kinda awkward on the wrist, but really really tight

i use a 68 on a 3 inch drop. I would have gotten a 45, but having a mag, i wouldnt get a whole lot of shots off with that
