    SPLAT Magazine

    I was just wondering if anyone picked this up, it is brand new (June+July anyways)
    This magazine f'in rocks!!!

    It has great articles, GREAT pictures, and in general, more of an 'experienced' feel. Not filled with spyders and such, and more 'adult' language. (Mild swearing)
    Oh yeah the make fun of a lot of people.
    Anyways, if you havent tried this, go grab your copy now, if you have, add your praise here

      Splat is good? I flipped through a copy at the local Fred Meyer. They had an entire section to guys and girls jumping into water with jerseys on. "This is Chris from Avalanche leaping into the water with an Angel Fly. He is wearing a JT Jersey and sporting Raven Pants." Okay so it isn't an exact quote.

      Sorry it struck me as kind of gay. If I want to look at women getting wet then I'd buy Maxim or FHM and I have absolutely no desire to look at guys in jerseys jumping into the water.

          I thought it had some decent articles and pictures (Greenspan bunkering the Naughty Dog player is one of the coolest pics I've seen) but overall the magazine seemed a bit immature and "cheap". I still prefer P8NT for good photography and articles.

              Too many gerbal comments for me. Did not come off as very profesional. If you have a gerbal fetish pick it up.

                  SPLAT Rules!

                  I personally think that SPLAT magazine is great.
                  I just got tired of the other magazines that are pretty boring. SPLAT is very interesting and full of the most incredible action pics I have ever seen. The magazine has a fresh feel to it and isn't full of spyder advertisments . The articles are much more interesting to read and are helpful. I do admit that there is a bit too many comments on the pictures and many I can live without but it is a great magazine in the end. I have the Aug/Sept issue also and it has even more pointless pictures than hot girls in water, like people jumping on trampolines (not sure on spelling). Great pictures, articles, and product reviews make SPLAT magazine my favorite magazine.
