Yeah it was great seeing and playing with everyone again!

I think I got video of almost everybody. Hopefully I'll be able to review this week. Thought I was going to be able to directly dump it onto my computer, but apparently I don't have the right video card. Need to check around and see if I can pick up a cheap video capture card!
It's HERE! Play at Shooter's Casino!!!!!! It'll be fun........

      I missed it.

Hey Barry/bsolomon/godzilla (I don't know what to call people now!), check this out on Anthony's forums:

"even though i was on the yellow team, i had the greatst time, one of the coolest guys ever had won a dragon and told anthony he wanted him to give it to someone else when he could have just kept it and sold it. Then anthony gave it to me because i was standing right next to him. THANX U GUYS FOR THAT!!!!! "

And it sucks you couldn't make it Carnifex, maybe the next one...
Hey Zero, how much did that Chipley cost ya?

          Good to see everyone again

Well, I spent most of the day Sunday cleaning out my pick-up truck and scraping mud and pink paint off of my gear. The X-Mag is already winging its way back to Airgun for repair (it blew out the MOSFET that controls the power on the ACE board - perhaps a power spike of some kind?). Oh well, I'm disappointed that I couldn't show you guys the X-Mag in all its glory, but I was very happy that Tom Kaye had enough foresight to keep the full mechanical mode. Instead of having to ditch the marker, a couple of minutes of reconfiguration and I was ready to play. And of course it still worked great and I didn't break a ball all day!!!

I'm glad to see that the kid who got the Black Dragon from me was so appreciative. Coming from the Tourney world where it's common to see people in each others faces yelling and screaming, it's especially nice to be able to have such an enjoyable game and cap it off by making someone else's day.

I'm starting to give serious thought to the August game. As we get closer, i hope that many of you guys can make it as well...

I am thinking about the August game as well, the only limiting factor for me is work. I work night shift (including Friday night) and would have to take another vacation day to attend. If it weren't for that, I would be pre-registered already!

This game was a blast, the only real drawback was the heat, it must have been around 100 degrees! Overall, I had a great time, and it was good to see fellow AOer's again and meet some new ones as well. Hopefully Anthony will have the pics posted on his website soon and we can add some more documentation to this thread.

The prizes he gave out really amazed me:
            1 Viking
            1 Tippy A-5
            1 Tippy 98 custom
            3 Black Dragun LCD's
            4-5 Ricochets
            1 AKA Sidewinder reg
            2 Longbow barrels
            1 Stiffi barrel
            1 45/45 Crossfire tank
            5 drop forwards
            2 hybrid cocker frames
Frodo's sword "Sting" (The scenario was Lord of the Rings based)
            2 Rings of Power

And a bunch of other smaller prizes that I can't quite remember.

its even more amazing when you consider that there is about 25 prizes he gave away, give or take... and there were probably no more then 100 people there, plus those other crappy glow up rings he gave to the first 25 people = 50 prizes per 100 people. Even if you won a squeegee and goggle cleaning kit, its still nice to walk away with something!

It might be a little while before the pics are posted on Anthony's website... he just got the June game's photos up like a week ago... maybe its more streamlined process this time.

I don't think I'll be able to make it to the August game... My brother and I are taking a road trip to Minnesota for a family reunion, plus thats the second week of school, and there is work to be worried about, so I'll be swamped as it is...

I wouldn't mind loaning my mag to someone if they want to use it... **I'm looking at you Jeff (not shooter)**

                Had a great time. I just got a new computer up and running. My re-cap is;
I got shot in the back first 5min of the game. Not from an AO player but someone on our side because the opposing team was no where in sight. Came back in the game at first re-insert and went to the front line. My mistake was I went to the right side and all the AO guys were on left side. Got shot again. Then I pulled out the angel and only got shot twice the rest of the day. Multiple hits during the last final battle. Considering what you pay for tournaments and how much you get to play it was well worth the money. The prizes that were given out were more than I've ever seen. I'd love to make the Aug game but am not "for sure". Once again we kicked_ _ _ _!!! Hope we all can build this AO CO team and do more senarios. Keep posting!!! Can't wait for AO 3!!!

<--- is oh so very pissed he missed out.

Let's make the August game CO AO day 3 if not, just 2.5,

I tell ya though, if I made it out, we would've taken best costume for sure. Then we could've created a system in which one person would get the sword on a specific day of the week and then not agree and fight over it until it either gets lost or buried in a time capsule like in the cartoons.

Eh not sure about the August game, don't know if I'll be able to make it. We definately will have an CO AO Day 3.0 though.

Definately. And next time I won't have to miss the post game beverages!

little late on my recap, sry

well, im sorry that im so late on my recap. I know i posted on CPC website, but i posted the similar response somewhere else on AO
anyway, I heartily agree with everything said so far. I would like to focus once again though on Barry's actions; those are the kind of things that will keep this sport alive and growing. I am pleased to say that of all the paintball players I have ever met (in my 9 month career, lol) I haven't found a jerk anywhere. Lastly, the AO guys are great, I will be sure to play with you all as often as I can. Oh, and Koosh, thanks for the offer on loaning me your mag... If i dont own one by then, i will be sure to find you

A for my shield, I ran out of time to make anything, so i grabbed an umbrella on my way out the door... and it rocked! it was light, it protected, and it didnt get holes from people shooting hot. well, it did get a rip, but that's because someone stepped on it. too bad we didnt get any pics of the thing, it was a soggy mess by the end of the battle.

Here is one of me, there are two more on the website, but the links are broken.

BTW, the problem with my emag turned out to be the solenoid, it died with a mere 62,873 shots on it. Soldered in a new one, and it's right as rain.
