    Nitro Vs CO2 Question

I've been reading a lot of classified ads for markers lately for to try to get some nice markers on the cheap for friends to borrow and there is one line I keep reading that I don't understand.

A lot of people selling their markers mention that only nitro has been used on the gun, and never CO2. Is this important? Why?

I understand how and why Nitro is preferred to CO2, but this makes it sound like the CO2 actually damages the gun, and I didn't know that. Thoughts?
Or better yet, why don't you kill yourself. No, really, die. Drop dead, don't leave a note, in fact burn your house while your little ego is stuck in a bench vice so that you'll also incenerate yourslef and everything you own with it. Because that's all you're worth. You're not even wirh thte time it'll take for the house to burn down, so just kill yourself. You're a waste of space. You are nothing, you always will be nothing. Don't leave a note, you're not worth the ink. - Tyger

co2 Doesnt damage the gun itself, it damages the O rings inside of it. The temperature changes make the orings swell and eventually crack. Its not that bad if you oil it regularly, and even when it does come time to replace the orings the kits only cost a few bucks and its easy to do. Just requires more regular maintenance than compressed air.

The main reasons is that CO2 is a very dirty gas. If used with out good filters, it will eventually damage the seals in your reg, noid, etc, causing a variety of expensive problems.
