So, are Shartley or anyone else in the custom work biz willing to do the milling work on these? I don't trust myself not to make a mockery of my rail, and what good is a flashy, kick-*** mainbody if you have a fugly rail?

Welcome to AO! AGD informed us of the modification needed to use the ULE body a few months ago. The consensus was that it was better to mill the rail than to have the angle of the breach in a bad position. With the body this way, the paint will flow into the gun without problems.Originally posted by Botswanaman7

I dont have a dial micrometer handy to give you a precise measurement... But it appears to be about an 1/8th of an inch. Also dont forget about the contours of the rounded ends or your rail will have a small gap like mine does.

I've done 3 rail mods for warp ULE bodies and a .15" deep cut in the rail has worked for each of them.Comment

coolio, thanks for the info guys. After a few hours of fileing, yes fileing, it is done, mounted and complete. Sorry no camera, otherwise I'd post some pics. AGD YOU ROCK!!!!!
