I'm a Cadet in ROTC, so I go to a normal college and take classes in the ROTC department. This way I can take 5 years if I need to. At a military academy you take 18-20 credit hours on top of all the activities and MUST graduate in 4 years, and you get a guaranteed active commission as opposed to a reserve commission with ROTC. I have a friend a West Point and one at the Air Force Academy, though.

Also, I didn't know that there were people playing without goggles last time. It didn't help it was a night mission. I do everything in my power to make sure that doesn't happen again.

Getting shot with a ball going 400+ fps = bad :)

You have to realize though that 300fps is the Upper limit. Most fields that I know of restrict you to 280 or lower.

I did the math (ok- so I'm bored at work )

280fps= 191 MPH
303fps= 207 MPH
400fps= 273 MPH

Here's how I did it-

280feet 60Sec 60Min 1Mile
------- * ----- * ----- * ----- = X MPH
1 sec 1 min 1 hour 5280 feet

Hope that sheds some light on the whole speed thing.

excuse my anger of if i get a lil feisty.... well... considering i just got stupider from hearing such a stupid thing! who would play without a mask! they are absolutely morons! that is like asking to be blinded. the mask is the one NEEDED peice of equipment to play this sport. i suggest not playing with them and lettin them know how DARN STUPID they are for not wearing one! aaaahhhh! stupid people make me angry! lol sorrry..... i just feel strongly about it.....

People get in my car and won't buckle up...they are escorted out and/or the car don't move till they do.

People want to play Paintball without a mask...I would pack up my toys and quickly leave the area .

It would be partly my liability either way (or might be found to be in court)as I am the one shooting at them. Just the possibility is enough for me.
