My freind got a Sypder Shutter and in the bag that came with it there is a little Clear round peice. I don;t know what it is sense i cant see it, anyone know what it is?

i thinks it's an extra replacement part to the valve. My brother has a spyder and by your description it sounds like the piece i replaced in his.

easiest way would be to read the manual and try to see what it could possibly be (assuming there's a drawing of the gun in the manual )

i would be better detailed or get a pic, but hes 14 years old and he lives about 500 miles away from me, so i can't really do much about that He says its smaller then the Black O-rings. He said he read the manual and didnt see it in there, im going to a PB shop tomorrow, so i think ill have it figured out Thanks for trying to help

Maybe its the extra cup seal thats comes with spyders.....

cup seal came to mind, but they arnt round and the arnt clear usually (kingman uses cheaper material than LAPCO).

Im guessing (and I know my spyders -- i can take one apart, lube and reassemble BLINDFOLDED in less than a minute) that it doesnt go in the gun

oh, and if the field guy tells you its the detent, hes wrong (assuming it is a kingman spyder)

its a cup seal.

there prolly is one attached (or you need to attach this one) to a silver shaft about 1/8" diameter and about 1" long. it will have threads on the end. that is called the valve stem. the part you are talking about is the valve seal or the cup sael....either one

yeah, his gun works fine, he just bought a Spyder Shutter and he didn't know what it was for. I told him everything in the bag are replacements, but he insested on me finding out what it was... that lazy little boy :o
