    Rail Drop

    Hey AO,
I was just wondering if any of you had tried this kind of drop on your setups? It is suppose to makes it easier on your wrist by extending the bottle, so you shoulder it. It's also suppose to make it easier to play titer. I just wanted your opinion on it.

    Here is a pic

I like drops like that because it sholders well, it's shorter than just an asa and dosn't point down at a slight angle. What kind is that?

        Frontline..it's from CP

Twisted, so what do you think of it? Prefer it over a traditional long drop?

I love mine! It near perfect. I've had one instance where the set screws loosened slightly during play, but that's it. I just cranked them down a little more and I've had no problems since.

It's nice and solid, and lets you shoulder the tank perfectly. It also seems that I can pull the trigger more efficiently with the added distance between me and the gun

edit-this is what mine looks like:

I have the old style CP and I love it. I would only use it on adjustable tanks that mount right under the grip frame.

My rule of thumb. The start of the bottle should be RIGHT after the grip frame. They should line up straight.

If I had a screw in i would probably use a CP micro drop with ASA so that the front of the bottle would be at the end of the grip frame.

But with my dynaflow, the old CP rail drop works PERFECTLY. It just makes the gun so much shorter. I love it.

I do like the old CP rail drop better though. It is shorter and it mounts just as well.

is that your new baby, USAF? Lookin good..I love a setup like that..I'm almost 6'4" with gorilla arms so it helps me not get cramping in my hand...and I just like how steady it makes me feel when I'm shooting..

I have one on my timmy, I love it.

Its easier to play tight with it, it just makes timmys look better.

I just wanted your opinion on it.
Martin, the question is, "how do YOU like it?"

You know how I already feel about it.

BTW, I saw this Xmag and Martin in action this past weekend.
The two of them seem to rip it up.

                          Yeah dirty thanks...

My friend gave me the drop. I usually play up front and it just seemed kinda hard to play titer...I do like how it helps with the wrist, but it just felt ackward to me. I'm assuming it's because I'm used to having a large drop.
