Im stealing Tom Kaye's design, Do i get in trouble?

Alright im designing a gun from scratch.....well not realy, the bolt and valve are alot like the Automag. Im only going to make a few guns for me, father, and friend. Though I WILL BE CHARGING THEM but only for the cost of the material, not for personal profit. So will I get in trouble with this design?

valve(air flows in from the bottom right hole and out the left side hole.)

This is the rod that slides in there that will control air flow.

                    actually, they make perfect sense.

its a mag with an angled on/off and a slightly different seal on the bolt.

I understand the drawing, it looks like a good idea. My only question is How are you going to install the "ROD" into the valve with the wide tapered edge?

Only problem with that is...... then the on/off is in the exact opposite working design.

If he has it like that and pulls the trigger, when it's in the resting point there would have been NO air inside the valve. So first pull of the trigger, the air has to then flow through the on/off area and then fill the chamber. Building enough pressure in the chamber to push the bolt forward.

Unlike the automag where the trigger resting, valve chamber is puressurized. Half way through the pull, on/off pin closes off airflow. Full pull, sear releases bolt, it fires and returns. Release of trigger, sear latches bolt and on/off lets air flow back in to repressurize.

Personally guy, I suggest removing the on/off pin all together! Move the grip frame forward another 1/2 - 1 inch forward, and get a lever-style sear (like Tippmann, Spyder, VM-68). Instead of the mag pivot-sear. Just eject the on/off pin all together.
