Yeah but Miatas only weigh 5 pounds anyway. I can juggle them for crying out loud. While their on fire. With swords sticking out everywhere. I like the cf frames better anyway. Thats why I bought one of the old RT Pros instead of the fancy new ones with intelliframes. Wish I could get a 45 though.

... 5 pounds? are you saying it's not a feat to be able to lift a small car with carbon fiber grip frames!? dude, you're crazy.

That's why they used it... If the cf grip broke, then there wouldn't be any big loss then would there?

In case your forgot, in the early days the autococker and automag shared the same carbon fiber grip frame. There is even a post somewhere about that.

Here it is ... short and sweet ... http://www.automags.org/forums/showt...+frame+automag

Actually you even have a quote in it

there are alot of strength and cost effecting variables in carbon fiber injection molding. its not unreasonable to consider that even if mag and cocker cf grip frames came from the same company they might have drastic differences, most likely being the regrind tolerances and fill percentages.
ive never heard of an agd cf grip frame failing, lord knows ive abused mine more than it deserves and it still works great.
its just a shame they arent popular enough to inspire agd to order a run of y style frames.

The problem with the paintball industry carbon fiber is its ugly...

if they started to use carbon fiber layering methods from the Aftermarket car scene they would look much nicer.

I can understand that for barrels and round/flat objects, but it'd be near impossible for something like a grip frame... it has too many complexities.
