x-valve exchange program

I have read that the only difference between the retro valve and the x valve is that the retro has a stainless steel front half. So, why doesn't AGD offer to exchange only that part or sell it just like any other part for the mag. It sure would save me some money.

The x valve was not available when I bought my retro ($200)and shelling out another $225 for the x valve sounds a little ridiculous to me.

AGD please enlighten me.

If you already have a level 10 on your retro valve, then the only things that the Xvalve has is that it's all black and it's 3oz lighter. Not worth the upgrade.

As for swapping the fronts- if they are all assembled at the factory, then the small internal parts can be checked to make sure they work. If they just sent them out, you may have issues from valve to valve.

Do you know what size bit to use to mill out my retro to accept the two o-rings? I would like to try that ULE trigger out but only have one o-ring.
