How fast am I shooting on my Xmag? (video)!!!

Ok well here it is I'm shooting my Xmag in emode (I cant shoot no where as consistantly in Hybrid).

I loaded a full DYE 140rnd pod into it and overall I got around 12bps, but in bursts I'm sure I got higher.
The Xmags max ROF was at 20bps and ACE was OFF.

Loader was a HALO B with TE, batteries were fresh Duracell Ultras with less than a case and a half through them.

Now I'm reaching out to AO again, when I posted my Impusle video a few people were able to tell how fast I was firing by reading the sound waves, please figure out with your nifty toys how fast I was firing again. Thanks



This video also proves that the E/Xmag trigger is capabale of being walked some what fast, hehe.

Looks like the fastest was just over 12bps.I don't see any that hit 13 although close.

(I'm not doing decimal points )


What's up with all those double feeds though!! Looks like your Mag is puking up it's lunch.

did you doubble load or something? or chop? all the sudden i see yellow falling out the barrel, and once it looks like a tripple load???

Just checked it again,you may have just hit 13 in one segment.Most were 11 w/ a few in the 12's.

I found one part that was 14bps but am too lazy to check the whole thing:o

yea i cant see that being much faster than 14. He double fed, then triple fedm then double fed 2 more times. New detents

yep.. i saw 13 most of the time.. not bad.
but i can tell you you where not outrunning your halo..

No offense, but I doubt anybody can truly/truthfully outshoot a halo.

My bad for some reason double feeding completely escaped me as a posibility. Great, now how should I go about new detents?

There is something seriously wrong with either the setup or design of your xmag.

There's no reason a $1,400 gun should chuff and double feed like that.

Is the feeding breech and detent system of the xmag that poorly designed? ...or did you just get a lemon?

Plenty of markers have had issuses with HALO Bs feeding past the detents, Angels, Impulses, and Matrices all have been known to have issuses with HALO Bs. I have personally experinced them with the first two.

Right now I have the latest software on my HALO, so Im gonna say I need a beefier detent, I never noticed my self double feeding in games, maybe the detent doesnt have enough to spring back when firing that fast, hey I dont know.

Here's my matrix I just got working on sunday. I can shoot it like 16bps which is damn fast but I feel like I'm hitting a wall. I think the way I've got my dipswitches set up 18bps is the max, but who knows. Also there is zero bounce at all.
