What happened to the sig guide lines?

Hey guys, what ever happened to the sig guidelines? yea remember that only one image per sig? only with in a ceetain measurement? what ever happened to that? Hell im even in violation of the rule, and no one has even mentioned it.

I have seen kids with 3 or 4 images in their sig, and they are not one image, they are 4 separate images... Id like to know whats going on here...

I actually dont think that they care, so long as it is not ridiculously huge/obnoxious...they just have the rules because they have to have SOME sorta guidline, eh?

Thats why I made my sig :)
Most sigs are under the guidelines, but the main problem is the people who have more than one.

I need to crack down -the rule is one - and I see people cant count - so one of these nights Ill start gutting some sigs.

Thanks alot steve, i will be redong my sig shortly, staking out the anti sp banner. I hve more than one, and as i said i was violating the rule, but i didnt notice any one seeming to care! oh well, thanks webby, i appreciate the crackdown

I think they stopped being Anal about it. I'm a 56k user and I've never really noticed anything, I just hated scrolling past sigs that were a page long, and thats been fixed.

They stopped being so strict recently, and sigs have gotten much better.

Actually, you arent legal, considering the fact that the size limit is 25k bytes...yours is 290k. Little off there buddy.

lol... 290... but i mean it's hosted off another site... i remember mine was bigger that this.. and it's still pretty huge

AO Forum Rules:

That's funny... the rules don't say anything about sig images greater than 20k being "ok" if hosted on another site.

Is it ok to have a 1,000 KB image in my sig if it's hosted on another site?
