Has anyone ever tried to powercoat SS line? Just curious because I hate macro-line but I like they're "purty" colors. Is it even possible?

just get some shrink tubing and put it over the top of the braided...
lots of people do this...

you cant powder coat it because of the soft (meltable tube on the inside but you can however use heat shrink tube found at local radio shackMY SIG RULZ

Many forms of heatshrink tubing are available from electronics stores. Radio Hack and the likes will have shorter lengths. You could also try online catalogs like jameco and the like.
This is from a computer "enthusiast" type store.
This is what I assume you mean by heat shrink..
