Slugos or Custom Bodies

Is it possible for someone to make a slugo or new bodie that can accept the old school twist lock. Why in the world would i ask someone to make a twist lock slugo because i have plenty of barrels and i think it would be ashame letting them all go to waste so i rather get a new body that accepts the old concept of twist lock. im looking at Nicad, and detroit. get back to me thanks.

i think doc nickel makes an adapter. i think that'd be your best bet.

No, he means the other way around. He wants to be able to use mag barrels on a cocker threaded body.

thanks for your imput fellas but i just want to be able to get a new type of sluggo designed body that accepts mag barrels not cocker barrels. im not looking for any adapters.thanks though appreciate you help

if you had an adapter you'd be able to get whatever sluggo based body you want. unfortunately personman is right, now that i think about it. i remember now that particular adapter was the other way around. although you could probably convince him to make one that does what you would need if you ask real nice.

I don't think it would be possible, 'cause the mag barrel "threads" are much larger diameter than the cocker threads.

I'm sure it would be possible to bore out the cocker threads from a sluggo and drill a hole to allow the mag barrel detent to pass through. Although the cost would be about the same, or more, as buying a new set of cocker threaded barrels.

Why not get your mag barrels milled and threaded to cocker threads? Thats what I did.

You might consider getting someone to mill you a body sleeve to go over a standard twist lock body. That's what I had done. Tyson Machado does very good work. Haven't seen him around in awhile though.

Where does one find a sluggo?? I've look at several websites, none that I've looked at carry them...

we can do it you would only be able to us a center feed barrel becouse thats how the bodys are

you could also have your barrel trunned down and threaded

detroit im really interesting in one of those center feed bodies cuz i have a nice set of nickel cp barrels. get back to me please i have some few ideas if you cant create some goods one which i doubt you cant. thanks
