please let us know. i booked at the harvey...btw its no longer the harvey it went belly up and is now under a new name. the best rate they would give me was $70 a night. they also claimed there was no discount for "fort paintball". so by all means let us know if you have a better deal.

Wow! I've got to drop in on the AO forums more frequently! Though I'm primarily a pump player, I just upgraded my Mag with a L10 bolt.

I want to attend Tex-Ball, but I'm not sure of my schedule yet.

I read through last year's Dallas event thread, and started to laugh at people's descriptions of the one named Mel. "Could that be..." I thought as I read. The "Mel Bell" - yup, that's the same guy! So that's where he ended up. Is the video clip of Mel still available for viewing? The link didn't work for me.

The Evolution Twins and I used to go "Mel hunting" when we all played at the Paintball Games of Dallas outdoor field. Nothing like annoying Mel with 3 pumpers specifically hunting him down and getting him out. He'd leave the playing field, often only to return later in the game in another part of the field. And sometimes he switches teams! I kid you not, he kept a spare arm band in his pocket.

whats the backstory on this mel guy...he sounds like the kind of guy you want to play with just for the fun of it. i once played against this cheater type...i got to bunker him 5 seperate times in one game, and it was worth every ball i put into him!

Mel takes away from these meets what most ppl love about them the most. These meets are for friends to get together and have fun, nothing to prove, nothing to lose.

Last March Mel was cussing at AOer's and wiping. That's not the type of attitude we want around our meets.

and havoc dont forget, screaming at little kids, telling them what to do being generaly a big A$$ he is a local there and very anoying. for some reason he has never said anything bad to me (guess thers nothing wrong with me in "mel's" eyes) anyways he better not come, or mabey we can have him tied up and all of ao takes shots at him, who ever makes him scream the most wins. anyways, whats the deal on the programer? am i going to be able to get my e-mag software updated?
