    Field strip screw question

    I have a field strip screw, and its missing the little rubber oring inside? Does it need it in order not to scratch the frame up? It wont' affect performance wise? Thanks!

      tighten it with an allen key.

      the rubber thing prevents a hand tightened screw from vibrating loose.
      "The Fine Print: Discontinue use if your eyeballs suddenly get way smaller."

          get one at the hardware store, because the screw has been known to break when tightened with an allen key/wrench
