If you read the update thread that AGD posted their lawsuit is in october.

its like a tariff on an imported product. the cost will be transfered to the consumer, so that the loss isnt incurred by the producer. the higher price will cause an artifical shortage in consumer surplus causing a prodiction inefficentcy. producers will not be able to allocate raw materials properly causing higher prices in the long run.

if I'm not mistaken, won't the ICD lawsuit set precedent?

Would SP not be able to refer to the past case to get an equal ruling on any identical future cases if they win against ICD (whose lawsuit is september 3rd, i believ)?
