Why in the world are shims .25? I was just wondering why they can't just be given out. There cheap and probably cost AGD about nothing, so why the cahrge? Not complaning i'm just interested :)

Go price a five thou stainless washer with that little material and find out. We had to have a die custom made to stamp them.

when you make things that small, and yet they still have to be within strict tolerances....it makes it harder and harder to make. Hence why on/off pins are so expensiveComment

Yes yes indeed, small and strong things are expensive, like ants, last time I checked, ant prices are up 50 percentile. Heh I love it when people get excited bout Tom actually posting, I agree with them but I always remember that Tom is a normal kinda guy. I mean what normal guy doesnt breath fire and shoot laser beams out of his eyes at the same time? Cmon now.
