New Xmag's have version 2.1 ?

I just received my new Xmag and the software is version 2.1. I thought they were on at least 2.3 now.

Also My eye setting is either a 00 or a 01. I see in some treads they talk about a 02 setting. Even the instructions has 02. Sooooooooo what happening here?

My son's new Xmag has the same setup as mine.

2.1 is the last "working" version. There is a version 2.4 that has been out for a couple of months, but it was discovered to have some bugs and is considered unreliable, although it does have the ACE 00 (off), ACE 01 (on single color shell), and ACE 02 (on double colored shell) options mentioned in the manual (version 2.1 has only ACE 00 and ACE 01). Version 3.0 is supposed to have all the ACE settings plus additional enhancements. It was on hold pending the Smart Parts patent issues, but due to a delay, Tom announced in his latest product update that as soon as the software for 3.0 is complete, he will be releasing it.

Once released, you will either need to send the X-Mag to Airgun for an update, or attend a larger event where Airgun has techs working. There is no charge for the update (other than shipping costs if needed).

Some times the ACE would say 55 instead of 0, 1, or 2. When it has ACE 55 the gun will not fire. You could switch the ACE back down to a 0 but the ACE 55 bug sometimes would pop back up. I am running 2.1 now.

ah ha! I was wondering about this too. My new X has 2.1 on it also.

Definitly cant wait for 3.0 so get here.

Mine says 55 sometimes
Just got it brandnew from AGD Europe. Doesnt do anything bad, but could have been taken care of.

the 3.0 will work fro emags too right, om pretty sure it will and i cant wait til it coems out

3.0 software will have two versions. One that is for an ACE equipped mag and one without.

The one without, the buffering will be set as a time in the gripframe.

The ACE version will use the eye to time the buffering.
