    powertube tip difference?

Is there a difference between these 2 powertube tips? They are both from a.i.r. valves. One of them is tappered while the other has a step on the inside. Is one better than the other?

The tapered PT tip was designed to extend the power pulse by releasing the air at a more gradual rate whereas the counterbored tip is more or less an instant blast of air.

The purpose was to make the gun more gentle on paint, but after the R&D was put into Level 10, AGD found out that the real issue was the bolt speed and not the air pressure behind the ball.

        Use the taper cone tip.
