1 star or 3?
while shopping for an automag set,i recently saw a deal for an automag classic with powerfeed,smart parts 12in. progressive barrel,2 hole bottom line adapter w/microline, and 3 star air valve for $500. However,as an option,you could get standard feed and 1 star valve with the same barrel and gas fittings for $330.which should i buy?

Get the powerfeed one! It's alot better for Mags because of blowback. If you search around you can probably find a post that goes deep into explaining it. I will try and find one.

there are 2 deals.1 w/ 3 star valve and powerfeed and 1 w/ standard feed and 1 star,but a lot cheaper.WHAT DO I DO?IM DESPERATE!Comment

Go with the powerfeed, it's MUCH better for mags.

You don't have to buy THAT gun, you can get a different mag w/ powerfeed. I think what they mean is that you should try to find a mag w/ powerfeed.Comment

Bare in mind you might also not get the Moulded Rubber AGD grips with the one star. Changing to PF is gonna cost you a new body later($140 for grey) and the three star valve is worth about $30 more on the used market. Check on the grips too. ALso check and see if you even get a barrel with the standard feed.
If you like I might got a PF three star set up Mag I can let go for way cheaper than five bills. But do check the used market for sure. See the classifieds. Lots of guys got them for sale.Comment

Yeah I would definately get the three star powerfeed. Mags just like it. Also, the 2 more stars is like insurance.
