I believe they bought the right to manufacture the Matrix. They might also be interested in the future manufacture of other E markers.

I would think that the more people who sign an agreement, the harder it will be to oppose the SP lawsuit.

Well, from an appearance standpoint, looks like the PSP connection is hard at work here. Too bad for WDP, AGD, ICD, Kingman, WGP, Planet Eclipse, CenterFlag, PMI, Brass Eagle and all other companies out there looking to do something relating to an electronic trigger.

Not for nothing, the Gardners are definitely sharp businessmen. But in an industry where we've seen guys give up their 'intellectual property' so that the industry can grow as a whole instead of personally enriching themselves through "sharp business" moves, this may be a signal that the Paintball business world is evolving more towards what the traditional business world is like.

Paintball giants like TK (giving up the rights to compressed air as a propellant) and Glen Palmer (giving up the automated pneumatic cocking system) are soon to be the exceptions rather than the norm. It is indeed a sad thing to see. As we evolve further, gone will be the sense of kinship that many of us still share.....and it will be replaced with avarice and "sharp business" moves.

Sad indeed.

Look at those companies for a minute. I think you can put them into 3 groups. Big companies, small compines, and compines that are in bed with sp in some way.

Kingman and BE could crush or tie up in court SP for years. Eclipse makes a bunch of SP crap but they are also tied to worr. WDP, I think, could also give SP the big FU.

AGD and ICD are just screwed. Sorry guys going to have to start selliing emag "kits"
