can flatlines be run reliably at 500 psi or a little less? im probably gonna buy one for my speed, since i want an adjustable tank and found a good deal on a flatline. so are they good at that pressure?

couple of notes
(one of which is restated in my PM)
1) the flatline should have no problem being consistant at 500psi. If you're OP is 300psi, you should have no shootdown from the TANK because it is set at 500psi. Perhaps some from the inline reg, yes, but the tank shouldnt hold you back
2) I've never seen ONE good reason why with an angel speed, running at 250psi, the tank's output pressure is better set at 500psi vs. 800psi. You're not going to be more efficient, you're not going to recharge faster, you're not getting anything....however...then again you arn't losing anything either....

The Flatline will work great at an output of about 400-500psi if you use a spring pack out of the mag AIR valve.
Running too high of an output pressure will work your front reg. too hard. Most front regs that use a large piston are for lower pressure operation. The AKA Sidewinder manual states not to use an input pressure over 800psi. Mainly because you're going to put too much force on the piston seat. F=PA.

Does the Flatline work well with an Angel Speed?

I just got out of the shower after whoompin some ash today with that exact setup pictured. Like the great BlackVCG said, you will need a classic AIR spring pack, which is like $12.
I run mine at 415psi and it works flawless. Within 2fps over the chrono (when I have a good paint to barrel match and quality round paint) and I whail on the Speeds trigger and get no shootdown. I use the Flatline with my ULE E-mag and just swap spring packs. So with both spring packs you have a wide range of psi you can run your tank at.
