Im on a quest to post everywhere you do tonight.
Ive been thinking about getting the Smokin' pants. They are relatively expensive, but are made of hemp, which is one of the stongest fabrics out there.
And you know I need to get a pair. Ive trashed my BDUs with all those wipe-outs.

The last one was the best, actually knocking the bunker over, then pulling it back up, while EVERYONE on the other side was shooting at me. Mike was right there with the camera, yet he did not get a shot. Bummer.
I'd like to point out that I have yet to hit a MOVING target, unlike some people

The kid tried to shout out a warning, but the gas leak prevented him from hearing it.

Well...I picked up a pair for $80 and that includes the knee pads (Smokin has them $80 for the pants plus $15 for the kneepads)...and take a pair of Dye or JT pants and then buy a pair of decent knee pads..you'll probably spend close to $80 all together...Originally posted by Steeratt

If you try the "Nexed" pants, you might like 'em. It's an "off" brand, but it's some good stuff! Buy the NX PRo's for felx and comfort, IMHO. I also saw the Smoked stuff, looks good and durable, but I've never played in 'em. I'm sticking to my Nexed for the rest of this season tho.

Dye pants!!! They are the best! I love mine, and they arent to thick, but completely eliminate any need for knee pads. they make it very easy to slide in as well.

Here are the pants I have tried and my results:
JT zip offs: like the pockets, and the zip offs are nice, but ripped the left knee out after some use... then the entire zipper ripped out.... not very durable.
Dye pants: Some of my favorite pants... good ventillation, only one layer, but its really thick nylon... ripped out knee after moderate to heavy use, during the ugliest slide of my life. Also, they are pretty snug at the ankles.
Draxxus pants: Bad buy!! look pretty cool, but I ripped the crotch out the first day I played with them... this is the most common problem with these pants.
JT 03 tourney pants. Fairly nice, somewhat warm, but like my other JT's the knees start getting torn up after not all that much use.
Smokin pants.... very comfy pants. these breathe very well, and lasted quite a while. The hemp knees are very sturdy. Unfortunately after a little while, the knees will become worn and begin to rip.
PJ's.... these pants are the sturdiest I have tried. They are very thick, meaniing that they get very, very warm in the summer. These are the only pants I own that are not ripped. And the overwhelmingly bright red is pimptastic!
I still would like to try some nexed pants. Does anyone know if they are made in solid black?

I haven't tried the new DYE pants(I hope my B-day changes that) but the older DYE pants were on the thick side. During the winter, I'd wear them to school because they were warm.
