Would it be smarter to build from scratch?

Hey, I want to get back into PB soon. I was thinking of an Rt pro when this came to my mind. I could just build a mag from scratch. All I would need is (add on if I'm missing something please:

    ULE body
    body Rail
    Trigger Frame
    X-valve
    Sear (comes with x-valve)
    Field strip screw
    Autococker Barrel

Is that it. That would be roughly $560 without the barrel, $30 more than an Rt pro. What kind of advantages would I see from doing this than buying an Rt and slapping my old jacko inifinity 14 inch or my J&J 2 piece 12 inch? I know it would be lighter, and more custom, but any other advantages? Thanks and God Bless

I think that the RTP's are going to come with X-valves and ULE's soon.

            I like your name :)

Yes that'd be a good route if RT pros dont come out with that stuff soon. If you are waiting 2-3 monthes anyways thats good. If by then they have it, buy it, if they dont, go your way. I'd personally build the mag like that anyways just because I dont care much for RT looks

The Rt Pros are going to have X-valves and ULEs with them; possibly even the ULT, which would be sweet.

Roguefactor's stuff is really cool, and I would say build a mag with his parts. But, if you don't want to buy piece by piece, get the RT Pro.

A small metal tube that keeps the rail and the body lined up.

And a very important piece at that. I had some mega problems when mine fell out and i didn't realize it, fortunately it was still in my shop.

                            Peace,
