I believe the stripping process also removes some of the aluminum underneath. The reason you cannot re-anno Vikings is because the type 3 anno requires even nastier junk to get it off, removes a lot more metal, and definately throws everything out of whack.

yea that type 3 anno looks like it would be really hard, did you see the thread where they guy got the featherlight viking? That thing was a beaut!

Yeah, its pretty sweet. Thats the only downside to my Viking. I wish I had coughed up the extra dough and got a fancier one.

Yeah,actually one of the reasons I never preordered was I couldn't deceide a color combo.I'm so tired of trying to match accessories to existing colors and have them "almost" match.So this kills to birds with one X,I'm digging the black to silver fade and those have to be some of the easiest colors to try and match up. Personally I haven't seen one in that fade so I'm real curious to seee what it looks like.Anyone else see one Fade Black to Silver front to back?

It's a Benchmark Twister. They made a few,pretty neat looking.

Benchmark(Proteam,Armson,GunFX) have some really neat ideas and some potentially great products,it's a shame thier marketing,production and ability to meet demand sucks.
