    Smart Parts 68CI CO2 tank....

    Hello all,
I am curious, do CO2 tanks need to be hydroed?
Would you guys rather put a Nitro system on a Shocker, or Impulse - Or would you go with a Smart Parts 68CI on/off Anti - Siphon CO2 tank?

It is getting fairly cold where I live(Texas )
Its going to be about 45 degrees and less here.
A few people told me, if I were to get the CO2, then I could wrap it in some cloth, or a sweater, and it would keep it warm enough, to where its usable, Is this true?

P.S. I am getting the Tank for $80 shipped, and it is fiber wrapped.

yes they do needto be hydroed. alum CO2 tanks is every 5 years. I'm not sure about fibber wraped CO2 tanks... but traditionally fibber wrapped air tanks are hydroed every 3 years. I assume it should be the same.

      Hello,
Thank you very much for responding.

Which one would you go with, if you were going to use it on a Smart Parts Impulse?

i'd go with the co2. shockers are gas hogs and you won't get very many shots out of a 68/(3000 i assume).

Those smart parts tanks rule! I have one and i get soo many shots out of it when i play with it. It looks like a nitro tank as well. You cant tell which is which. When i get it filled they say you cant put C02 in your nitro tank i say it is a c02 tank =P. O well its worth the money to buy this specially for an impulse

acutally, Impulses are very efficant, theyare like super remade Shockers x20. Though you still get more shots wit ha 68ci CO2, 68/3k air will serve you a fair amount of shots.
