Just reserved a minivan-Enterprise $212.70 for 3 days and unlimited mileage. I can pick it up at 8:30 AM Friday. So we just need to coordinate where we would meet in SJ and where you want to leave your cars.

We can just meet at my home if it is easier. Definitely safer to leave your cars at. Wife won't mind, she'll be at the beach house for the holiday week.

We won't get in to SC until at LEAST 8pm that night. And I know Phil's got stuff planned that night.

We may need to look into leaving earlier. Maybe we can chip in and get it a day earlier and leave earlier in the morning.

I am by exit 2 of the turnpike. We can pick it up at 8:00 am. If we drive straight thru we are there between 6 and 7 pm. If not we can get it the previous evening.

Also, Newt might check to see if he can get a better price/size van up north. We will keep you in the loop.

There are some lose plans for that Friday night. In fact we may do all of it there in the hotel. They offered to let us use the Atrium and there is the Bar too. Depends on what and where Tom wants to do it. If we did leave the Hotel for dinner we would be back for social later anyway. If we do leave I will leave direction and all to where we are at the front desk for everyone. I do have a restraunt on stand by. Its a VERY nice one but not too expensive. But we can and may use the Hotels restraunt as well. I let you know. If you do not find us there check the desk. We will not be far away.
