AN AGD tech? just certified, not working at AGD or anything.

To get a certificate (Don't make you a "Certified Tech" though) you just need to attaned an AGD tech class. This past IAO there was one for the ULE Trigger (which I just got the certificate in the mail for). There was a rumor that Tom is going to have another MegaMeet next year at the AGD factory. If this is anything close to the one they had in 2001 then there might be a tech class there as well.
The only way to be a "Certified Tech" is to be one of the special few that get hand selected. If only I was that special
