trigger problems

I was out playing today, and I got hit on the right the side of my gun where the mode switch is. I cleaned it up as well as i could while i was at the field. It worked fine the rest of the day, but when i got home, I noticed something was wrong with the trigger pull. I figured a little bit of paint dried in between the trigger and frame and was makin it stiffer to pull. I tried to clean it but its too hard for me to reach. Do you guys have any advice on how to clean it? or do i have to take my tigger off to get to it? Thanks

you may have gotten some paint up where the trigger stops on the mode switch column.

It's best to pop out the trigger, or if you can...take off the rail and everything and spin the mode switch around and see if you can see anything under it.
