Just got an impy!

I just traded my angel for an impy so i can try one out for myself and decide what i like better. Here it is!

it was an LED. i just wanted to try one out, not too many people play around here, so the only way i can test most guns is if i buy one.

That's a nice Impulse. ND parts are the best IMHO. I think you'll be quite hayype with it. If you fiddle with the LPR, input pressure, and dwell that gun will seem like it uses no gas at all.

Really the only thing you could add would be vision. With a Halo you probably wouldn't even need that.

Thanks, I dont know if i will be adding on vision or any other upgrades, i need to see how i like the way it shoots now first. I have an Egg2 with Y board, u think that will be good enough? Also, do impulse feed necks have the same threads as angels?

the Y-board eggy should be fine for a non-vision imp since you are capped at 13.9bps
Although if i were you i might pick up a I-frame or OTB frame, my god my imp used to rock when i had it with an i-frame.....to bad i had to sell it....

imo, ipb bolts and triggers are pretty sick. i have an ipb fire bolt, and werm stick and im very happy with both.

Impulse feed necks have impulse threaded feed necks. I would ditch the co2, go n2, and I would definitely get a new foregrip.

why ditch the co2? Impulses and Shockers work very very well off CO2. If it shoots fine, stick with the CO2 instead of spending $200 on a tank that you won't notice any difference with. Looks good though.

squid, maybe drop the 15* asa, but keep the forgrip.. dye gas-thrus are nice.

Ya, I guess the 15* ASA is what is ugly. N2 is better, either way. Co2 runs well on imps, but still, if he ever gets a new gun he will need it. He had an angel, so obviously had N2 as well...
