ULE body fading in spots? any one experience this?

my black ULE body is fading in the rear near the valve, its loosing its shine and looks almost as if its fading, it isnt very noticible but you can tell if u look at it hard, it seems dull compared to the rest of the body ots like from the feed tube back to the valve in spots...worried mag master 04

I have a red ULE body. The ano inside the body right where the balls fall into the breech has faded away. As long as it is inside the gun it will not bother me.

Take it off, wash it in the sink with soap and water and then let it dry. If it still has the spots, then you got some sort of oil or paint on it that damaged the anodizing.
